“ Tenders ” or contracts (for works, services or product supplies) abroad are a safe and expanding market, just think that international tenders alone cover 15 to 20% of the budget of governments, regions and supranational organizations such as the European Commission. However, in Italy they are still mostly ignored by medium-sized companies.

Public procurement contracts represent approximately 17% of the European GDP and consist of the execution of works on behalf of public authorities and bodies that own goods and services in exchange for payment. Companies from a country belonging to the European Union can submit offers for public contracts in other member countries.

European “tenders” represent a stable market, characterized by political and commercial guarantees and secure payments. The bodies or agencies of the European Union publish every week from 40 to 100 calls for tenders in all economic sectors but, despite this, the competition is relatively low.
